Scheduling
The Nebraska Statewide Telehealth Network is a private network of hospitals and public health departments connected for the purpose of providing clinical consults, educational opportunities and back up communication in the event of emergencies. As a private network dealing with very confidential interactions (such as clinical consults), use of the Network is confined to members of the Network, their staff and affiliated medical staff.
The Network has the opportunity for exponential growth as hospitals, public health departments, practitioners, patients and others discover the benefits and potential for its application in improving access to patient care, access to education and cost savings in its use for administrative functions. As this occurs, we fully expect that other health related organizations may wish to utilize this medium for educating and meeting with health professionals and/or patients in the member hospitals and public health departments.
At this time, if you are not a member of one of the organizations listed, you must contact one of these organizations for possible sponsorship if you wish to hold an educational event or meeting over the Network. Due to time and staff constraints, the Network cannot accept every request and each request by a health care related organization will be looked at individually by the member organization contacted to decide if it is an appropriate use of resources. Until policies regarding such use are in place, access will be limited.
Non health care related activities involving persons who are not members of the Network will not be permitted on the Network at this time.
